当小孩出生期满一月的时候，往往要举家庆贺，过满月就是这种庆贺的方式。过满月，是在庆祝“家有后人”、“添丁之喜”、“足月之喜”。办事的目的不一，但形式却大同小异。小孩满月时，要剃去胎毛，别压了运气；剃去眉毛，以后别“没（眉）眼高低的”。

When the baby was born for a month, the whole family preferred to celebrate the new born, that was a way of celebration. Full Moon celebration was a celebration for "family descendant"，"happy event for a new baby",and"happy event in full month". Although with diverse purposes, the forms were fairly similar. When the infant was born in full month, the family would shave off lanugo hair to remove bad luck; shave off eyebrow to bless him to be healthy and prosperous.
