护国寺和隆福寺，并称“双庙”。护国寺在城西，又叫西庙，农历每月逢七、逢八开庙市。隆福寺则在城东，又叫东庙，农历每月逢九、逢十开庙市。护国寺庙会和隆福寺庙会是北京最繁华的两个庙会。两个庙会大同小异，都是商品云集，珠宝玉石、绫罗绸缎、古玩字画、花鸟鱼虫、服饰饮食以及日用百货，无所不有。

Huguo Temple and Longfu Temple were called as"Double Temples". Huguo Temple was located in West of the city, also called as Western Temple, usually opened market on the dates with number seven and eight in lunar month. Longfu Temple was located in east of the city, called as Eastern Temple, it was opened market on the dates with number of nine and ten in lunar month. Both Huguo Temple and Longfu Temple were the most bustling fairs in Beijing. The two temple fairs were similar, various goods gathering here, including jewelry and jades, silk, antiques and paintings, flowers and fishes, dressing and food, as well daily necessities, nearly everything in daily life.
