满族女子和汉族女子的服饰有明显不同。满族女子喜梳“如意头”，汉族女子则流行苏州撅、平三套、双盘髻等发式。满族女子主要穿旗袍，汉族女子仍着汉装。二者最大的区别，满族服饰是连裳，即不分衣裳和长袍；汉族服饰则上身着袄、衫，下身束裙。但是随着时代发展，满汉女子之间相互效仿，服饰的穿法也相互借鉴。“花盆底”是满族女子的特色鞋，汉族女子则裹小脚。

It was fairly different between clothing of Manchu nationality and Han nationality. The women of Manchu nationality prefered"Ruyi hairstyle", while the women of Han nationality preferred Suzhoujue, Pingsantao and bun hairstyles. Women of Manchu nationality loved cheongsam, while women of Han nationality loved Hanfu. The difference of the two styles clothing was that people of Manchu nationality loved to wear overall dresses, which had no separation of raiment and gown, while Chinese style clothing included jacket, shirt for upper body and skirts for lower body. However, as time went by, the women of Manchu nationality and Han nationality mingled with each other in terms of dressing styles and collocations."Basin-shape sole" were the main characteristic of Manchu women’s shoes, while women of Han nationality were forced to bind their feet when they were young.
